For the very first time, the Hanse-Corporation Neuss E.V. which was founded in May, awarded the so called Hanseprize of the city Neuss. The prize that aims to call attention to medium-sized companies was given to Novopress for its position as a “Hidden Champion”. “The term describes small and medium-sized enterprises with unobtrusive products, which however play a major role on the global market”, declared the president of the Hanse-Corporation Neuss E.V. Jörg Wisbert. “We want to draw the public’s attention to those enterprises”. The newly founded Hanse-Corporation intends to refer to the traditions of the medieval Hanse and follows its ideals. This includes the cosmopolitanism for which Neuss is known for, inter alia due to the connection to the river Rhine and the proximity to the airport Düsseldorf and Cologne.
Reiner Breuer, the mayor of the city Neuss, is also impressed by Novopress: “The enterprise is a good example for a “Hidden Champion”. The company truly doesn’t need to hide from competitors”. The mayor highlights his excitement for the innovative products and the international orientation of Novopress.
We, the employees of Novopress are very pleased to receive the first Hanseprize and thus would like to kindly thank the Hanse-Corporation Neuss E.V..
